Howl now installs an rcNG script for starting mDNSResponder. To enable mDNSResponder to start at boot time, add the following to /etc/rc.conf:
howlはmDNSResponderを起動するためにrcNGスクリプトをインストールします。ブート時にmDNSResponderの起動を有効にする場合、/etc/rc.confに下記を加えてください:

mdnsresponder_enable="YES"

You can also pass flags to mDNSResponder by setting the rc.conf variable mdnsresponder_flags to the appropriate value. See the mDNSResponder(8) man page for the list of supported flags. The default is not to pass any flags to mDNSResponder.
さらに、適当な値をrc.conf変数mdnsresponder_flagsへ設定することによって、フラグをmDNSResponderへ渡すことができます。サポートされているフラグのリストに関しては、mDNSResponder(8)マニュアルページを参照してください。デフォルトではどんなフラグもmDNSResponderへ渡されません。
